* Our Radish Harvest / The Earth Club - Jan.24 *

Hello! We are the Earth Club members.
La, la, la .....Today is harvest day pf our Sakurajima Radish at the back of our Club house.
We grew our Radish in two boxes, the size are 46cm x 36cm x 23cm.





Look! This is our small Radish garden.





Can you see a part of his face.





His name is Daikonmaru or Radish man. He was waiting today in the cold soil.

Let's harvest our Radish!





Yoisho, Yoisyo, Yoisyo! We could not pull out him easily.





At last we did it! I became a good cameraman?

We harvested next one.





It was smaller than before.





We worked strong again.





At last we harvested the 2nd Radish.





We could not measure our radish weight becouse of scale over.





Radish A = Body weight 1350g , Leaves = weight 1700g Total = 3050g , Max roundness = 40cm
Radish B = Body weight 900g , Leabes = weight 1700g Total = 2600g , Max roundness = 35 cm





We learned a lot through this activities. Working together is wonferful.





Now we are good cameramen and camerawomen. We ware very glad we can insert here a lot of pictures
that we took by ourselves.

Next activity day we will eat Daikon-maru. Then we are going to write down
about our thoughts what kind of things can we learn through growing Radish.
