Sukirno born approx 1950 in Solo. He is a becak
(pedicab) driver. In his
spare time when there were no
passengers, he would paint
parked by the side of the road,
as he carried his art
materials with him. His style and
subject matter lean toward
Sudibyo, a famous Indonesian
artist and Sukirno’s mentor
and neighbour.
